Do you discredit your successes? Do feelings of frustration and loneliness occur because, despite what things may look like on paper, you’re still feeling inadequate? Maybe you create goals that become harder and harder to achieve due to your high expectations for yourself. Self-doubt, anger, and shame might keep you up at night, expanding into anxieties about work, school and relationships. This can feel numbing and exhausting; like you are going through the motions and walking through a heavy fog.
These thoughts, feelings and experiences may be what you are used to, or perhaps they are new, but they do not have to dictate your life.
I firmly believe that investing in yourself is an incredibly sustainable way to create the relationships, career, and life you envision. Are you ready to invest in yourself in a way that feels meaningful? It is possible! I am here every step of the way and for each new “aha!” moment.
I create a warm, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment for you to develop new insights, and you will likely have a little fun as I guide you in learning new tools to navigate your healing journey. It is time to invest in you!
Every person is unique, and I aim to employ a therapeutic approach that fits your needs. I draw on different techniques including person-centered approach, strengths-based perspective, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
In therapy, there can be a broad range of emotions, sensations, thoughts and events. Through an interactive, reflective, and engaging style, my intention is to explore the various experiences that occur in the therapeutic space to facilitate increased self-awareness and growth!

I earned my master’s degree in clinical social work from Michigan State University.
My experience includes working in community mental health, the non-profit setting supporting individuals and families impacted by incarceration, and residential and partial hospitalization settings where I treated mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders.
I have 3 cats and secretly want more! Maybe one day I will get a dog (don’t tell my cats).
Living in a city can make it hard to feel connected to nature, so I try to bring nature inside. My houseplants bring me so much joy.
I love to take long road trips! Whether they are across the country or to a nearby state, I find them to be very relaxing.
